AV tech

Ensure the proper functioning of audiovisual needs on internal and external shoots.

Monitor the rental and return of audiovisual equipment.

Provide technical support for post-production.

Maintain an inventory of equipment.

 

Assume responsibility for equipment maintenance and repair.

 

Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the workplace

 

Paint the cyclorama.

 

Install, adjust and operate required equipment and systems as required.

 

Operate audiovisual, video, photographic and computer equipment.

 

Understand the technical requirements of projects; prepare various facilities.

 

Clean, check, maintain, repair, adjust and calibrate various devices and instruments; check connections, prepare the required wiring.

 

Diagnose breakdowns and problems encountered by users and take appropriate measures.

 

Install audiovisual equipment.

 

Small manual maintenance work.

 

All other related tasks.

 

Requirements / skills sought:

 

Diploma or certificate from a college educational institution, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in television or film.

At least two years of relevant experience in a similar job.

Knowledge of filming equipment (camera, microphone, lighting). Must be able to hang lamps.

Curiosity and interest in updating your knowledge (technological evolution, new software). Knowledge of Adobe software is an asset.

Organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.

Attitude and professional behaviour (team spirit, autonomy, initiative, creativity, good judgment, dynamism, high customer service skills, discretion)

Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

 

Ability to work variable hours (day, evening, weekend).

Driver's license.

Part-time position, depending on the shooting schedule.

Studio located in Montreal.

 

Date of entry into office: immediate.

Our diverse clientele works in all fields from multinational pharmaceutical companies to SMEs, at various levels of government.
We also serve advertising agencies and independent producers

Job description :


The candidate will work in marketing and business development.

 

Here are some of the tasks to which he or she will be assigned:

 

Support the sales team in all needs.

Carry out strategic/competitive monitoring.  

Identify areas of activity that would be likely to use our services

Identify sales opportunities. 

Set up and use a Zoho CRM.

Edit, modify and decline graphic, audio and video content to adapt it to different promotional and advertising uses.

Develop requests for proposals.

Prepare and layout proposals.

Manage campaigns and ads on social media.

Analyze performance indicators (Facebook, Insight, Google Analytics) and help develop a strategic editorial approach.

Support customers throughout their production.

 

Required profile

 

Skills

 

Honesty, integrity and discretion in the handling of confidential information.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Be able to manage several projects simultaneously through the efficient management of your time and priorities.

Knowledge and interest in video production.

Passion and curiosity for everything related to communications and marketing. 

Have an excellent command of French and English.

Be able to write for an audience by adapting to the linguistic nuances of the various target audiences.

Have a marketing mind.

Be results-oriented, resourceful, responsible and autonomous.

 

 

Previous experiences :

 

Studies in administration, marketing, communication or any other relevant field.

Knowledge of social media;

Basic knowledge of Excell, Photoshop, Zoho or other CRM
